The very first Future Entertainment Show, from the publishers of Commodore Format, was at London’s Earls Court between Thursday 5th and Sunday 8th November 1992. Gamers from around the country could check out the latest games and electronic entertainment, and every one of Future’s magazines was there too – including the then editor of CF, Trenton Webb. Here, in the event magazine (three quid on the door!), he welcomes some no doubt puzzled SNES kids into the not-so-future world of the Commodore 64! CF

And here’s a TV report from the show. It was a segment from ITV’s videogame programme, Bad Influence!
